  • 20" RIMS

I asked this questions in a different post, but got few serious replies "The 20" fairy". Anyway, will 20 inch rims fit our cars, and if so, where can they be bought? So far, the largest I have seen both online and stores around my area that fit our cars are 18"... Just curious... Thanks for all SERIOUS replies...

I am a driving (no scrubbing) testament that 20" wheels can fit our cars. When I turn my wheels to the extreme (right or left) I literally have no more than a millimeter between the tire and the inner wheel well. The current set-up I have is 245-35-20 Toyo Proxes T1-S Ultra Performance all the way around. To give you an example of how tight the fit is: When I first made my purchase back in Feb. The guy at (Butler Tire)sold me 255-35-20 tires and they cause scrubbing (maybe 1 millimeter too wide). So they tried the 245-35-20 and it is a perfect fit. The wheels I have are Platinum Zephyr, and I have yet to see a person in ATL with them. I just had my wheels rotated yesterday and the guy at Butler Tires said I should be good for at least another 10 rotations (4000 miles a pop). He also said that I am getting the best wear that he has seen out of those tires and that the car has a lot to do with that. If I had not bought the 20" I would have a pic of my car on-line, but hell, as stated before I cannot afford a digital camera right now.

        Take care

Sorry, wheels are wheels. You can make 20" fit but it all depends on the tire size.

I'll keep my smart *** comments to myself from now on.
