The camaros are really low to the ground so you scrape bottom a lot in the front. do you guys know of anything that'll get rid of the scrapes and stuff on the bottom of the car (painted part) without having to repaint? Some parts can be seen visibly if you look at it (know where to look, might just be me because I pay more attention because it's my car)

but anyways, i tried waxing the scrapes and it didn't make a difference. have any of you tried that stuff they sell on tv to remove scratches? or the similar stuff they sell at walmart or k-mart? does it work?

i really don't wanna have to repaint

just curious... but what kind of bumps were u going over??? cuz most cam's have enough ground clearance to clear quite a bit, (well, except for the air dam) that's hits everything

I've lowered my car 1.5" and put on a huge air dam on the front and haven't scraped any at all. Just remember when turning into inclined driveways to try and stay as "linear" as possible. A 90 Degree turn is the worst way to turn into a incline, you will scrape if you do that. About getting the scrapes off - have them sanded down and repainted if you're that worried about it.

I mostly hit the air dam when i'm going into the drive way at work. The town where I live in is right inbetween the mountains and the desert, so it's more or less 4x4 country more than it is for sports cars.

btw. i'm mostly scraping on those 90¤ turns, so that's the reason probably, it just pisses me off still
