  • brake caliper paint?

    what sites can i look to get good deals on brake caliper paint? or can i go and get it at like murrays or autozone?
    SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.

    I have a dark red 97 camaro....which color paint would look best???????

      Bright red calipers, always! Depending on what you want to spend, go with VHT, Folia-Tec, or Plasti-Kote (moderate, expensive, and cheap respectively). Just remember, the more effort you put into the prep work, the better your results will be. VHT has their own site, do a Google search on "Folia-Tec caliper paint", and Plasti-Kote is at Advance Auto (and probably others).

        when i did my calipers i used duplicolor. i think it turned out really well. and i used decals that say "firebird". i have some pics if you want me to send them to you. just let me know.

          I just did mine this morning with the plasti kote I got at work (advance auto) and it turned out great just make sure you clean them.

            actully what i found the best is going to autozome or someplace and get the engine paint with the high heat resistance those work the best to with stand the heat

              Just go to Walmart or KMart and get some high heat paint.. Its in the automotive section..
