  • Altezza Condesation

Well, ive had my altezzas on for about 7 months and last month the drivers side one started getting lots of water in it and it condensates over the bulbs. I drained all the water out and put rtv all around it and it is still gettign condensation around the bulbs and it looks really stupid. Anyone else have this problem?

i get this problem too.....only when i wash the car though....i guess you can drill a small hole so the condensation can evaporate?

may sound silly, but i would put like super goop or some type of flexable adhesive around the seems and maybe that will cure the problem. just a thought i had for you. my altezza lights collect condensation too, but theyve never got to the point of puddles of water in the lights.

I don't have alteezas but I know that I have heard a lot about them leaking. I know a buddy of mine had this problem and first he used some clear rtv/silicone and sealed all the way around them, but it still leaked. Then he checked the gap of the bulb and the fixture which was tight. Then he realized there was an actual crack in the alteeza itself and that is where the water was leaking. So check around on your fixture and make sure it is all good. You can do a simple water test by pouring water on the alteeza and finding out where the leak is..... just an idea
