I don't like it either - looks ricey. The shoddy photoshop job doesn't help at all.

I don't think the front matches the lines of the car. The sides and back are a little better, but have the same problem. The whole kit is OK (far from good), but not on a Camaro. I've seen it on exlipses and it fits better on them. It might work on a Firebird, but it looks out of place on a Camaro. It seems to me to look lopsided with too much attention being drawn towards the GFX and away from the car.

1. I like the kit, and I'd pimp it if i had a 98.

2. My definition of Ricer is much different than yours. My definition of a ricer is they pour hundreds of dollars into "performance parts" that they bolt on to their car, and then we pull up beside them and blast them apart in our stocks. Ricer= fart cans, tons of stickers, "supertuned" sticker on windows and people stripping their cars down to a bare minimum trying to get a 4 cylinder to do 15 in a quater mile. Grant it, our 6's may not be 8's, but they sure do a heck of a lot more than those little 4s. camaros will never be ricers, as neither will Mustangs. Why? Because camaros and mustangs are the orignial sports cars. They were beasts, back in the day, which paved the way for their respect. Old SS Camaros and Mach 1 mustangs, thats what keeps camaros and mustangs from being ricers, knowing the originals weren't made for good gas milage, they were made to rip the ruber off of the tires. my father had a Mach 1 Mustang that would bark the tires in 2nd no matter how easy you set it in. Show me a honda that will do that, and then i'll say that kit is ricey. Thats the difference the reason the cars were created.

Okay, according to the dealer that had that kit posted on ebay:

Yes, the sides will work on the firebirds. The kits are in short supply. He will be getting production numbers from Japan soon and will email me when he finds out how many kits he is getting. He is also going to send me prices on the complete kit and just the sides as well.

Thanks for the heads up.. I didn't even pay that much in shipping for my headers from CIA, so no way I'd pay that for GFX...
