i wanted to paint my speaker covers but i heard it takes hours to remove the paper so I'm gonna hold off. I'm not sure what to use, maybe some adhesive remover. We have some at work and it takes of any kind of glue, but i'm not sure if it would work. Whatever you use try to let it soak it will make your life alot easier and be patient. :D

I assume you're talking about the paper behind the covers in the front and rear? I don't know about on subs?
I didn't bother with the paper and it didn't turn to the color I painted. Just make sure not to hold the can too close while painting.« Red Firebird »

i don't know if the older the car gets the easier it is to take it off but when i put in my new speakers in the front doors i took the paper out and it took me like 30 seconds for each one and i didn't soak them or anything, i didn't put anything on them. i was suprised because everyone was saying how hard it is to take them off. it was easy for me.1996 Chevy Camaro SS
#67 of 2,410 made that year with the slp package
Street Lethal Fbody Association Member
http://www.cars-on-line.com/97cam11475.html

I did that too. I used hot water, and used a brillo pad to get a lot of it off.--David--
The NEW V6Bird Website!
Cardomain site
ΔX
