• New Paint Job (Pics) Just the Beginning

Alright guys.
I'm sure there alot of these posts, but tell me what you think the outcome will be.

I just got my Bird painted. I went against what most said and went to Maaco and spent $800 to have the car repainted. That also included having the nose refinished and painted. Because it was all cracked to hell. I'm sure you other bird owners know what I mean. That price included 3 layers of clearcoat. I had all the emblems and molding removed also. I'll get better quality pictures after this weekend.

Sorry man but for $800 just for a nose repainting and especially from maaco they ripped your *** off. I personally know how they operate at maaco and for that price it's disgusting. Might want to put some wax over that too btw.

I got the entire car painted and clear coated. Not just the nose.

Congrats on the new paint. That looks nice, has a good glossy shine with it. Maaco may not produce show car super quality, but they work just fine for Daily driver cars or touching up old paint. A lot of people are too critical because they want super show car extreme jobs done rather than just a brightening/touching up of the paint. I think the last owner had my car done by Maaco like 2 years ago. The paint does chip pretty easily so be careful, but just take care of the car and it should be fine. I wash and wax mine a lot, and it's always got a nice shine to it. Good luck with the new paint
