They are wanting $18/can for this interior paint! That is crazy. To those who have painted their interior how much did the paint cost you?

Well isn't most spray paint usually 5 bucks a can or so?

I found brake paint for $12 for two cans.

$18 for one can of spray paint sure sounds expensive to me. Maybe it has just been a while since I have bought paint.

$18 for one can of spray paint sounds reasonable to you?

You may get what you pay for. Sometimes, better paint cost's more, and looks alot better when dry.

I painted my interior using the good ol' $5 spray paint and it turned out great! Got it on sale though for $3.50, it's like stealing!

I think they have better paint that sticks to plastic better, and it does say on that paint can that it will bond to dashboards and whatnot... I'd get the paint that is going to work and look nice.

I ordered my paint from Classic Industries. 16.95 per can. Now typically, that would seem outrageous to me, but where else was I gonna find Hugger Orange. The stuff I got was Vinyl Aresol Spray Dye. Shipping wasn't cheap either. It's like 9 dollars for the first can, and two dollars for each additional can. So I've got a little bit of money invested in this interior. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. Sanded everything with 220 and then wet sanded again with 1500. Then 2 coats of primer (bought 2 cans), 3 coats of Hugger Orange (bought 3 cans), then 2 coats of clear (bought 2 cans). So now I've got ( calculating cost).... ehhh, you do the math. I'm embarrased to say how much I've spent, but so far it does look good. Who knows how much you'll end up spending, but don't go crazy like me.
