okay im not realy sure that this goes in here but couldnt think of a better place for it and since this is where someone would go to inquire about a hood i post here
people who have bought a hood...what company ships them and how much does it cost generally?
Just a question about the freight charge...
It says to a "business". Does that mean like a body shop that some one owns? Because the guy that's doing my hood has a double sized garage that's attatched to his house that he uses as a garage/body shop. And that's the way it's listed in the phone book too... Jerry's Body Shop. So if I just get the standard shipping I should be OK right?

I bought my hood from SLP, it was $75 shipping freight. They said it had to be delivered to a company because the truck it was coming on could not go onto residential streets.
I had it shipped to my work where we have a loading dock and then i had a friend with a van take it to my house.
When I had my ram air hood shipped from SLP the cost was $90 with Yellow Freight shipping. Recently I sold the hood and had it shipped to Kentucky through the same shipping company, Yellow Freight. They broke the hood :( so now we have to go through filing a claim to get the insurance money out of it.

I only paid $39 for shipping. I thought it was definitly gonna be more. They company was called Sharky's I believe. I got the SLP ram-air hood. Looks like I got the deal here.

I ordered my hood from suncoast creations. The hood was $595, shipping was $115, total was $710! I wish shipping was only 39. Maybe it depends how long of a ship it is? cause i got my hood from florida and i live in illinois.

I shipped one through American Freightways to Pat (1998bluecamaro-not exactly his name but you get the idea) for about $115. Pat could probally tell you the exact price. BTW that is from texas to flordia.
