  • Xenon vs Halogen pic

I just installed some hiper super plasma xenon bulbs but I left one halogen in to show you the difference. I love those hiper bulbs.

So how did you do this? Did you use sealer and if you did what kind? Where did you get the bulbs and for how much?

Italian, I bought them off of ebay from ebay user id racesonic. I bought the combo pack of the hiper 9006(lows) and 9005(highs).
                As far the installation.
                1) take up your old light
                2) take off your old bulb (I used a pair of plyers to grip the bulb and twist, then pull off, becareful not to damage the housing)
                3) clean off the old gasket sealant (scrape cut off, just make sure the surface is clean)
                4) re-seal with high temp gasket sealant (place a bead of sealant around the light housing)
                5) place your new bulbs down on the sealant
Let it dry over night and done

One note do not touch the new xenon bulb with your hand or sealant. The chemicals on your hand will cause a hot sopt on the bulb and make it blow.

                Its just that simple.

I just wanna add my two cents. MAKE SURE YOU LET IT DRY OVER NIGHT AT LEAST! It takes 24 hours for the gasket maker to fully cure. When I did mine I only waited a few hours and now my bulb is crooked inside the headlight. It's an easy fix, but there is no need to waste the time, just let it dry properly. Also make sure you remember which way the plug was pointing, that way you will put them back in correctly. They look awesome, enjoy!

Hey that was my idea :D

I've been collecting housings to do something like that but never got around to finishing it. So did it make a pretty big visability difference? The pic is a little small but looks great.

autotoys.com has them for a fair price as well as ebay. I bought mine from ebay ID seller racesonic on ebay.
