gagues are all wrong

ok i just put new white face gauge on my 96 3.8 camaro, and i hade to take the needles off to put them on, and i dont know if they are right, how do i fix this thanks for you for your help

from what I understand, you are suppose to mark the spot with tape so that you can re-install them.. but since you didn't, I'm sorry I can't be of any help. I hope someone else can.. maybe you could contact the company that makes them.

Try to figure out how bad they are off & re adjust them, they probable wont be exact(as if they were in the 1st place)

lol. My friend just did this in his new eclipse. He had to take it to the dealership to get it fixed.

last guy that I heard did that, had to send the gauge cluster in to get recaled....

I dont know if thats going to be the case for you, but I'd call the company to see what they say as well....

Thanks guys. There not that bad off im just wored about the fuel gauge i went 225 miles and it said i have a half of a tank left and i was like "that cant be right" cause i never get good gas mileage, so in fear of burning the fuel pump up i feeled up an i only put 8 gallans in at a half of a tankdoes that sound right?. i put the needle at full when i filled up last. how many gallens does a 96 3.8 gas tank have 13 or 15.? thank for any more help you can give me.
