My car isn't RED red, but its a shade of red.
Anyways, currently I have Gloss Black Calipers and brake drums.
I was at Walmart yesterday, and I found some Red "anodized" spray paint. Kind of a red, metalic gloss. Looked really neat. I was thinking about doing that on mine.
I'll get back to you guys on that one 1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

I know what your talking about the metalcast stuff right? They have like yellow, blue and red? I wouldn't even use that on my brakes. FOr some reason in my mind I just don't see it lasting like that on the brakes. I don't know, but IMO I don't think I ever saw colored calipers (beside's black or base colors) that i've seen and liked. I'd just stick with black.

Yep! Thats the stuff.
It says it's good up to 500, perfect for things like calipers.
It could be neat. Its only a few bucks and a little work.
Couldn't hurt, if it looks dumb, or I don't like it, I'll just wire brush them off again, and repaint them. No big deal.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

you'll want to go higher rating than 500 degree engine paint. same rack at auto zone or advance or wherever you go... get the 1500 degree high temp paint or brake and caliper paint. the standard engine paint can bubble and blister cause the brakes can get REALLY hot!!!\'01 Mineral Grey SVT Cobra
-former F-body owner

The paint on mine right now is "High Temp" paint, which according to the can is rated at 500. Its been on there for 2 months now, still no probs. Hell, if the paint only last like 6 months or something, its not a big deal. Its not like painting these is a HUGE undertaking.
Well... The drums are, because I sandblast those.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap
