tint repair??

ok so the tinit on my back window got a hole torn in it about the size of a dime. is there anyway of fixing this without getting it re-tinted? the tint that got scraped off is still there is there anything you guys know of?

I'm hoping you get a response on this. My rear tint is screwed like a mofo, my sub flew back and forth 400 times to many and scratched it to hell. I'm doubting theres a way to fix it though.

I think all of us guys are on the same boat! My back window is the same i have a hole in the tint also. I went to a local window tinting place in my town they said they could cut a little square out and put a new little peace in but you might be able to see the lines. Later this month I am geting my hole back window re-done. its going to cost about $ 230.00. My back window is all *ucked up. I really hate crapy tint. JON

holy god that is a lot of money...mine only cost me $80 and $150 if i wanted the whole car done...but i didn't. i think they are asking too much...

My window tint was way more than that, i got high grade tint and i went to a camaro/firebird specialist who was able to do the back window in one piece. most of the guys around here had to it in two seperate pieces so thats why i went with him it was like 230 for the whole car i think. so now you know why im so pissed about the hole!

$230 does seem like a lot especially jsut for that ammount of work.

i got the same problem kinda. i have some scartches and small holes in my tint near the edges. (few toold scratched it) and i need to get the repaire. its ntohign big but i am a perfectionist when it involves my car. also i got my tint done for cheap compared to you guys. i went to a guy in his garage to get it done, he got hte back window in 1 piece and i got the highest grade tint u can. and it cost me 80 bucks.(note friend of my dads, i lucked the **** out on that one) but still repairing it shouldn't be that much. look around.
