I have a pewter metallic firebird. What color should I paint them. I'm thinking either black or red.

I would polish them if I were you . I had mine black at first...then red...now as of yesterday they are polished. I would go with a blue though if you want to paint them. You can take a look at my webshots for pics of my car with them polished and when they were red and black.

This album has pics when they were red

I used to have my whole car done in blue stuff, including the calipers... and as of today, my interior is pewter and my calipers are currently being painted black (doing that right now actually). The blue was cool... but I dunno... it just got too tacky IMHO, and I want something more suttle and smooth now, so I'm doing the calipers black. I wouldn't do red though... personally I think red looks like crap on a pewter car (no offense Kris if you read this ;) ). Either blue or black...

*I wonder what chrome colored calipers would look like? I actually considered that, lol... but whenever I get around to getting chrome rims it'd look gay*

Is there a website that has directions on how to paint your calipers? I would like to paint mine red. I'm not quite sure how it'll look with the stock rims though. I guess I'll wait and see hehe..

          Answered my own question.. Doh!
