Center Stripe

[green 95 firebird]

hey,
what do you guys think of a center stripe down my hood? i have a dark green metallic bird w/the stock hood. i was thinking of white or silver, i'm leaning more towards white though. hw do ou guys think it would look? i've seen some at 4th gen mod appearnce guide, but i dunno how it would look on my car. what do you guys think?

i'm actually thinking of doing the same thing, i have a teal 95' Bird and i thot of a white stripe down the middle since i'm basically accenting everything in white.
but i htink it should look good....i think we need a PS

Yo, Sandman... you know that teal v6 camaro in town with the z28 tags... he got a gold strip down the center.. UGLY!

Yeah i think so.. it's the only one in town like it.. very ugly.. i think he must have owned a civic before :-X... im not a big fan of the center stripe... BUT!!! i just got a poster of the 35th ann.. and on the back it has pics of every camaro.. and in the 70's they painted the whole top front of the car black.. like from above the wheel well to the back of the doors.. it looks really cool.. and ive never seen it done on a newer one.. ill PS a pic and post it later...

I put white stripes on my 96 camaro it is a really dark green i think it is the same coler green i think you bird is but white really looks good and my green camaro. hope i helped you out

unlike most people, i think the center stripe looks awful unless you've got a z28 style hood. the stripe also doesn't look that bad if it doesn't have the same dimensions all the way through it, if you know what i mean...it can't be 7" wide at every point of it. i think if you are going to go with a stripe, you're going to have to have something with some attitude, not just a plain stripe down the mid. my 2 cents.
