• taking off factory ground fx?

    I need to take them off because I can't get into my school and I go there everyday. The bumps and ramps are too steep the engineers around raleigh are idiots....

    Can I take my factory 97 GFX off? How do You go about doing it?

        i'd want to keep them for maybe later or if i have to sell my car. I just don't want to have to keep replacing the front GFX and painting it... If only I would have gotten good at driving with them earlier... do you think they are covered under warrenty?

          No, the ground effects wouldnt be under warranty. That would be like you backing into a pole and trying to get your bumper fixed under warranty, Things dont work like that{Old people try it all the time at my work, they will hit something and come up and say "I have a warranty why wont you fix it?"}

              I know this doesn't help your question of how to remove them but why don't you just remove the front FX? I've seen a couple 97's w/o the front and they don't look bad at all. Chances are the only problem your having is with the front. And I'm assuming you've tried every angle to see if you can make it without scraping.

                i've also considered just removing the front.. you are right about that.

                Yeah I guess I'll just take off the front. I'm gonna try air shocks first!
