• New interior color, and painted my bumper myself (pics)

Well, the paint is all dry and I put the pieces back in today, and I hafta say, the pewter on the interior looks pretty damn smooth, much more so then the blue I used to have, which I finally decided was kinda tacky! :D

I also decided to give painting over the chipped areas on my front bumper with normal spray paint, and I must say that went very well too. The Duplicolor pewter paint is an exact match to my car, so the only way you can notice that the area was chipped is if you're up close and can see the fine lines of the chips.

    Anyways, pics of both here:

Geocities sucks and has a crappy bandwidth limit, so if that one doens't work, try this:

EDIT: Err... I forgot about my tips! Some people said they liked the T/A tips on my car, but that I should paint them... so I did. I used some chrome paint and did them. There's pics of those also.

Looks great - esp. the interior. Did you use Duplicolor Pewter on the interior parts?

Yea, the blue was a little much for me, but I dig the pewter. Isnt it a cool color?

Very Nice Job. Like the Tips too. Not a big fan of the blue camaro lettering on back though. Other than that, for a newbie like me great job.

That paint work on the bumper is great. Does this duplicolor come in black? How much does it cost and what all did you do to prep/finish it? Did you just spray over and then clear coat it or something? I think I want to do this in my car too hehe.. Great job!

Yeah, since I replaced the blue interior stuff, and basically got rid of all the blue on my car, the blue lettering on the back will be replaced with black reflective letters as soon as I get around to ordering them.

I'm sure it does come in black... comes in most normal car colors. All I did was go over the area with some fine sandpaper to help get rid of some of the chipped paint that was just hanging on kinda. Then I sprayed around the area with gray Krylon primer (2 coats), then sprayed on 3 coats of the paint, followed by 3 clear coats.
