has anyone ever tried to get a camaro front bumper, headlights, and hood matched to a firebird body? just a thought. I like the firebird tailights but also like the camaro headlights and hoods. Yes, I am strange, you don't have to tell me that, I already know. Thanks for any POSITIVE imput.

I think this is going to be the closest you're going to get with Camaro headlights on a Firebird:

(you can buy them at rksport.com)

As for the rest of the items, I've seen a picture (I can't find it now) of a red 4th gen firebird with a Camaro front (hood, front bumper, etc.) I guess it fit on ok, but the problem was that you could tell where the 2 car bodies met because they weren't matched up correctly. So if you really wanted to, you'd be able to get it done but it might not match up like you would want it.

Now the wierd thing is that I saw a black third gen last weekend that looked like it was a Firebird with a camaro front & hood. From the back it looked like my firebird, but from the front you would think it is a camaro. The thing was that it looked perfect. The body matched up perfectly, I had to examine it and couldn't find anything wrong with the way the parts matched up. So if you really want a combination of the 2, I suggest trying it on a 3rd gen.

Why would someone even want to do some stupid bs like that?

If you want a Camaro, buy a Camaro.

just the doors, rear hatch, and wheels were changed in that links. That can be done. Doing the headlights would require a different setup because the Firebird radiator crossmember is different I believe
