Can anyone out there give me a few ideas on what I could do to my F-Bird?

I know that I need some new rims, but BROKE right now so they'll have to wait a little while. I was thinking of getting some clear corners and some gold stripes on the hood. I painted the A/C vents chrome to make the interrior a little more "colorful" Anyone got idea's for it?

As of today I finally got somewhat of a sound system in it also! Yay! [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img]

For the right price i would buy your rims on the car know. They look alot bettter that the ones i have

ok, I can't see the pics well enough to tell, but if you have a firebird emblem on your door, i was suggesting to get decals to go over that, but what i would do if i were you, is to buy new door emblems from Pontiac that go on the 98+ firebirds. DO it in a different color too. It looks great

Ya know that pinstripe doesnt look half bad. Breaks up the car a bit. Id definately get some Letter inserts and the Honeycomb tail lights. Rims would be nice but on a limited budget yours are fine. Ive seen worse. You could do something with the exhaust tips like others have said. a set of Chrome tips would set the back off quite a bit more. The clear corners are a DEFINATE way to make the front look good. and the cold stripes i think would like nice with the green. Its really all about what YOU like. if your happy with how your car looks then thats all that matters

Ok, here's what I would do.

You're pretty much screwed out of a nice looking spoiler because you have a convertible. I think Mecham makes one similar to the Wings West for 'birds/Formulas, but don't quote me on that.

As mentioned before, get 98+ emblems for the side. I suggest silver.
Also get Honeycombs and a new rear plate, and put silver decals on that.

You could paint some of the interior pieces the same color silver, and also white-faced gauges would look NICE [img]smile.gif[/img]

And personally, I'd keep the rims if you do a green/silver theme. IMO the rims aren't bad at all! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Clear corners would also go well with your green/silver theme (if you decide to go that route [img]smile.gif[/img] )

Also, a nice set of fog lights (nothing riceyish like yellow!) would look good. I'd suggest ion blue....or somethin similar.

Stainless steel exhaust tips, maybe 3.5" slash cuts(coming out of a Flowmaster 80 muffler ;) )

Expensive mods :
A set of W68 ground effects would look nice too, but they cost over a grand (new) and you need to paint and ship them.

A stock 96-97 WS6 Hood would look very nice, but again, painting and shipping would cost a lot.

Rims....I don't really know your preference, but my favorite are Y2K 'vette wheels. Not chrome, but nice enough! Those are extremely costly, and maybe a set of chrome ZR1 wheels would be easier on the wallet. Even the 17" Eagle 077s, those are very nice rims too, and not near as expensive!

I also plan on clearing my corners (I already have a new set I ordered a lil while's back), getting dual-dual exhaust tips from fasttoys, tinting my windows, converting lights to xenon, getting blue-ish tint fog lights and..well that's all I will be able to do minus the TA Spoiler/Ram Air Hood. Hope this helps some.

Sandman, would green and silver on the outside go ok with the tan top I have? A bunch of the idea's you've said are things I have considered:

The clear corners I want! Where can I get them and how much $?

New Emblems are a must (those stock ones just are not BOLD enough)

Fog Lights i'm still considering.... how much time would that take? Where is a good place to get them from?

The rims look ok from the pics I took, but when you get up close they have yellowish spots on the that i just cannot get rid of...

Exhaust tips I want.

I'd also like to dress up the engine a little bit and make it more colorful also [img]smile.gif[/img] :D

I'm not sure where you can get the clear corners, I've considered them but am not positive as to a site that sells them. I'm sure *someone* can tell you.

Fog lights you could get anywhere, just don't get too bold and get some KC Truck lights or somethin :eek: [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Emblems you can get at any dealership, or online I'm sure.

Tips are easy to find, just look.

For the engine bay, maybe just get some silver wires...

Get a new exhaust (or at least tips)... and stuff to engine.. but you posted in appearance so your probably not going for that.. uhm... new rims and that's probably all I would do for appearance on that car.
