Anyone that knows about F-bodies knows that a hood doesn't mean SS. Although SS badges on a V-6 would be beyond poser, ricer perhaps!, A hood is no where near poser. People that don't know about F-bodies might be fooled but good for them. The first chance I get to get a SS or Ultra-Z hood for cheap I'm doing it!!

im going to have to go with everyone on the whole poser issue...no badges not a poser..when you slap the badges on might as well go buy a type r sticker to go with it.

on the car...it looks a lot better in red..i was a little weirded out from them looking pink and didnt really like...but with color corrected it looks good..not a big uni blade fan but to each their own..creative thinking with the car...good job!!! Who said anything about putting SS badges on the car? I only said an SS hood would look good, which it would! Then some A$$ gots to say poser this and poser that, noone gives a $hit what you think! If he were to put SS badges on the car then YES that's a poser and ricey, but a hood is NOT!!!

What if I had a 97 Camaro with no ground effects, and I bought ground effects for it, would I be a poser then too, because my car isn't an RS??? :rolleyes:

Yeah Brian that comment of being a poser just because you have an SS spoiler is pretty retarded dude. My car is completely stock appearance wise if you ignore the front clears and wheels (exhaust if you count that). Now I put my car next to another F-body with an appearance package and my car just seems to look like crap in comparison. You've got your ricer/poser definition a little twisted man..... may wanna get that checked out

The question was a simple one of symantics. "What is a poser?"

Now if I saw a car that clearly was NOT an SS and it had an SS hood, I would think "poser." He's trying to make his car look like something it's not.

If I saw a car that clearly was NOT a 35th anniversary, and it had the 35th stripes, I would think "poser." Again, he's trying to make his car look like something it's not.

If he had badges that said SS or 35th ann. then I would think "rice" AND "poser."

If your car looks like a faster car, it damn well better be faster. Pull up to an SS and race him... your SS "style" hood won't do jack. Pull up to a 35th ann. and race him... your stripes won't help.

That's my opinion, I'm entitled to it. There's no need for name calling.

except for the wiper, i like it. i kinda like the stock wipers the way they are. the wing is a little bit high for me but works well with the black roof + black wing combo. interior is awesome!!! those are great seats. my 2 cents.
