FYI!!! Corvette Accessories Unlimited is starting to sell fbody shift adapters so you can mount any manual shift knob to an automatic.

Ya for real...i want a shift knob with a button for the nitrous. that way i can hold on to something while i get my *** shot back into the seat. ALSO if it doesnt use the button how do you keep it locked into drive so it doesnt shift into park by mistake?

If that is the kit I am thinking of, you still push down to shift, only now you push the entire knob down instead of a button. The kit includes a spring and other mounting hardware. One issue in the F-body is the lack of a leather boot around the shifter to hide the new mechanism. The vette's don't have that problem.
