• tinting the corners

The color scheme on my car is red and black so I thought I would black out the orange side markers below the head lights on it.

Ive been told there are like 3 different ways to do it though:

1)but them off of ebay or an online shop

2)nightshade? ive only heard a little bit about it but its like a kind of spray that you spray on the lens after sanding them a little bit?

3)get this very thin film used for tinting the windows on RC cars and put that over it, then use a heat gun to shrink it down, friend with a WRX did it and he said it worked well

    what is the best option?

i could do that but i dont like the idea that somebody can take them if they want to. like if i were at work or the car was siting in the parking lot and i were gone somewhere. good example would be at like a mall or something with tons of stupid kids around

right there on the front page under specials:

            see in the bottom left

if youre talking about the rear corners (which it appears you're not ), i suggest going with the method your buddy with the rex used. i did the same to my rear corners and it worked quite well. front corners are curved and ive found the niteshades or just buying the covers the way to go for anything with a curve to it. of course, we may have used different methods to get it to lay right :D

the ones from rk sport i didnt like because they use suction cups to stay on.. that just doesnt seem reliable.

i had the velcro ones too for my car and now i have one. I was driving down the highway and it blew off in the rain, so if you go for the velcro or something like that i would secure it better to the car. same thing happen to my tail light covers, they just popped on, so now i have 1 of each

niteshade rules, get a can for 10 bucks and sand them down and paint them. Do this in coats though, very light coats to keep it from dripping. Once you have the niteshade on go ahead and use a clear spraypaint to protect the niteshade and shine it all up nice.

                              1. can you just buy it from a store? or is online the only way?

                              2. should i/do i wetsand after the shade has been put on?
