ok guys here is the STB on the car just kind of sitting in place, my question is what color should i get it? blue, white, sand(polish), leave it black?

i am debating on all of my color choices and am not sure what i should do? as u can tell i have starting polishing my ALT. i have polished my hood struts and a good majority of the ac condensor! BUT i also have alot of blue under the hood, ALSO the car is white and i have white under there too, along with all the black stuff also!!

I think the black blends in nicely...blue, ehhhhh, might look out of place and white? might look good, might be too much. And damn could you clean that engine bay, it looks like your car is dirty grey from the inside there...sheesh.

Polished. No doubt. I'd start polishing out some other parts to match it too.

Engine bay looks fine to me... I think polished would look great cuz that's the one I have and it dresses things up nicely. Colors don't show up as well.. cept' maybe red (which wouldn't match your car).

well, my bay started out a lot like yours. white flows nicely imo. polished is never a bad choice, i just dont know how it would come out. black would work, and would obviously be the easiest. not blue. especially cause if you ever decide to change the loom color, youll have more to deal with.

also, i bet its powercoated, and not painted. taking off the powdercoat will loose the benefits it posesses. powdercoat is supposed to stand up nicely, where as painting it white or polishing it wont.

Powder coat is a magnetically charged powder that is sprayed on to metal and then baked. Not only is it more durable than paint but if you mess up it is easier to strip it off before you bake it. I also think a powdercoat comes out richer in color on most everything.
