I was looking at your's again and I think I would actually really like it if you put a black fire chicken back on the center. It would tie the lights together a little. Right now it just seems like a lot of empty space which is what turns me off about it.
I agree, the firechicken is part of the car man. To me that is the coolest car logo.

maybe I will make a 3 dimensional 'bird' out of polymer clay. I could easily trace/cut the clay and also prep/prime/paint/clear the fineshed product and glue it on. hmmm......
i should make metal 'copy' of the curved center panel and mold the clay to fit the convex surface and bake it like that so it fits good. hmmmm......
oohhh...maybe a fake red ruby for an eye....and red paint for fire breath. hmmmm.....
