well guys as the hurrican is coming in i might go up north to home town and could possibly do my brake calipers, i have everything i need, but one question i havent seen is approximate how long in between coats should i let dry!! i plan on putting like 3 ish black coats my camaro letters, and 3 ish clear coats!! also i have high heat engine gloss black paint that will work wont it, if not lmk soon and i will exchange it but that is the only high heat stuff i seen

    my materials:
    brakleen
high heat engine enamel?? 500 degrees or something
    camaro letters from brent franker
    94 cent clear coat

It doesn't take too long. I'd say give yourself a couple hours, just to be sure.

30 minutes should be plenty of time. the can you use will tell you, as all paints tend to be a bit different. some even call for light tacky coats, so you wont want to wait too long.

Well its kind of hard for us to say about the wind. It all depends on how hard it is. Just as long as the paint isnt blowing all over you or the car. Read the can, it should tell you all you need to know.
