Getting c6 rims for my camaro. Now keep in mind that my camaro is an 02 35th with stock ground effects. I really want 18X9's all around but im worried they will slow me down in the front with the weight of the 18's. Would it look dumb to go 17X9's in front and 18X9's in the back???? I really need to know soon befor i order them. I don't want my maro to look shackeld up in the back with bigger rims there, but i don't want the 18's to slow me down in the front. What do you guys think?

yeah i agree 4 18's. I went with 18's all around. I guess you could look for 17's all around if you are concerned the 18's weighing too much and you don't want the staggered look with 17s front and 18s rearhttp://www.cardomain.com/ride/857214

i need to decide soon, all i really want to know is if 18's in the front will slow me down vs' 17's? If they are going to slow me down then i wanna go with the 17/18 set up.I want show and go not just show.Plus it would be pointless to get 18's all round if they slow me down cuz i have plans to put a whole exhaust train to gain h/p and it wouldn't help me one bit if i had 18's in the front weighing me down. I need help FAST!!!!what should i do with my 3.8 maro?

well i am after some 18's now i went 17's cause i had a gold maro and wanted something subtle i would like to get some 18 C6's right now, and the diff. between 2 17's and 2 18's vs 4 18's the diff. will be very lil. ehh if you go 4 18s you will have a wider fron tire which may be a lil heavier but = tonsagrip i have 4 17 x 9.5's with 275s and i can hang a corner wickedly nice with a stock suspension!! but ehh honestly i know EXACTLY what u are worried about but ehh i would go 4 18;s!! just my opnion not enough to worry bout!!

Bigger wheels will always slow you down unless you get lightweight ones. I would say between 17s and 18s just depends on how much you wanna spend on tires. 18inch ones are a bit more expensive.\'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5
(mod list on cardomain site; too long to list here)
http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99

18 inch wheels on the back slow you down just as much as 18 inch wheels on the front. I would go for 17s if I were you; but that's just because I'd hate for my wheels to slow me down.1998 M5 3.8 Mystic Teal Camaro
Flowmaster exhaust, Pacesetter headers, 3\" cat, 3\" S-pipe, whisper lid, ram air, Spec Stage 1 clutch, Poly Trans mount, Walbro 255LPH. I'm planning on getting new C6 rims in mid april. I was going to get 18s but 17s are cheaper plus lighter. So that is how I chose. Plus what Fbody3400 said, they will look plenty big.-Travis-

1999 Hugger Orange Camaro-stock
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/763509
