Is it possible to get a fibreglass scoop layed onto my stock hood? has anyone done this? hos much would it cost? i am thinking of a l-88 hood for my 01.

This was something I considered. My father in-law does fiberglass and a lot of custom work like this. He said even if he didn't charge me labor or mark up parts, and just charged cost, it would be cheaper to find a hook I liked and buy it instead. -
Ya but no one makes the 98-02 camaro hood with a l-88 scoop. so it would have to be custom.Comment

doesnt seem to me like it would be that expensive to do.. i mean, if u had the scoop, fiberglass it on, smooth it out and paint it?.. it wouldnt be functional but im sure it would be cheaper than buying a new hood?!?*Matt

Actually it's called L-88. It's a hood that came on the old 'vettes. Looks pretty sweet too.2002 SOM 35th Camaro.
