  • Ram air hoods

I wanna add a ram air to my bird and was trying to decide between a WS6 hood or a Raptor hood?

    Its a tough decision...

I like the raptor... more sleek and subtle, in my opinion.

The ws6 is what a Ws6 trans-am has and the raptor hood is like the firehawk hood

personally i like the ws.6 better, i don't like how the raptors don't have that line going thru it for some reason. if you wanna get a little crazy, go with the mecham hood

          Good call, buddy.

I say Raptor hood. the WS.6 hood is badass, but there are so many of them around now that there is no originality left in them.

Go with the SLP Ram Air H.O. hood
I think that looks the best

H.O does look good, but takes too damn long to get shipped.

your talkin bout the mecham hood. its cool hood, and your right, ya dont see a lot of em around......but ya know why?

they are wayyyyy to expensive, and their quality is absolutly horrendous. do a search on ls1tech.com i think, one guy had to have something like 20 or so hours of work on it cause it was sooo wavy and cracked.

Probably the raptor because the WS6 is used to much..

the raptor is the best if you ask me.

san-d. go over to ls2.com and look up a moderator called Dr. Evyl. he has a 98 purple formula w/ a raptor hood on it.

if your car is actually bright purple metallic let me tell you that you are one very lucky guy, thats on of the best colors on a bird
