Valve covers: Dremel tool w/wire wheel for the initial & get big stuff of. GOJO/Fast oragnge around the edges to derease it. Sandpaper, 800, 1000, & 1500 grit. Steel wool, corse & 000 fine. 8" buffer wheel w/white compound & finally Eagle Mag/Chrome polish w/clean white cotton T-shirt. About 3hrs each, depending on how shiny you want them.

The intake will take more work, as I want to see how much it'll take to get the casting smmoth. In the pics I just put the wire wheel onthe grinder. I might jus bead blast it & shine it up that way.

Thanks. on teh 5th pic down, drivers side upper intake, the back part is almost mirror like now, even better than the valve covers. Just takes time & not needing to use the motor yet ;)
