• Please help me get this clean!!

I have two problems
one...
I have clear coat stck on the back of my bumper, theres a long line streak of it going down the bumper. I sprayed clear coat over my taillights, and the clear coat dripped off and is stuck on my bumper
2...(i have already used the "search feature", but no luck"
I can't get my front two wheels clean, theres dirt and brake dust that seems to be "glued" down onto the wheels, i've scrubbed with all kinds of brushes, no luck, used that eagle wheel cleaner, nothing, please help, i have aluminum polished wheels, is there anything that gets the dirt right off, without having to scrub the wheels for hours

as for the wheels, I would recommend taking them off one-by-one, and soaking them in a plastic pool (kids pool) with water. Spray brake dust remover on them first before soaking them. Take them out about 20 minutes later and go over them with a very fine steel wool. After that's done, re-clearcoat them.
I used very-fine steel wool on my WS6 rims, and put a clearcoat on them. They look awesome!

fbird, for the wheels i'd just use mothers aluminum polish or any type of wheel polish for that matter. You need to keep your wheels clean often otherwise they kind of go to the point of no return, if you know what i mean cleaning wise.

About the clear on the bumper. Hopefully you learned that next time you need to cover up the whole area you are working in. You say it's a long line, i'm not so sure how long it is but you can try to hand rub it out with compound. Go to your local store and pick some rubbing compound up and try to basically rub it out. If not and you are worried about it, i'd advise you to take it to your bodyshop and they can professionally buff it out for you.

Good luck

yep, rubbing that much down even will prove a bit challenging. i suggest you take it to a shop if you dont have much experience.

I just finished polishing mine. I took a polishing drill bit and cut pieces of rag to put over it, dipped it in Mother's and went crazy. You could try that before flipping the bill for a body shop...

hey for the tires use Maquires Rims cleaner(purple in colour),It gets rid of my brake dust in a second. It says Spray on and rinse off but I wipe off.Andfor your paint use MotorCraft Tar and oil Remover(Ford product).it smells like paint thinner but less potent. That should help you out :)And use Ceramic brake pads that gets rid of brake dust,Thats what Iam going to
