I think primer paintjobs look badass. I'm thinking about primering my whole car just flat black. What do you guys think?

    Paintjob like these...

Can't afford a paint job and I want to spend money on boost goodies.

If you could make it look as good as the cars in those pictures, I'd say go for it.

It may look that good when you start (assuming you put some time into it and you have the talent to do it), but it won't stay nice for long. I can understand that you don't have the money for paint now and yes one flat color looks better then bondo and 3 other colors, but please paint when you can afford it.

I really don't get this trend. people ruin perfectly good paint jobs to have that flat black look

i think its terrible. just my 2 cents. when i see someone with a flat colored car i honestly cringe because it just looks half-assed, tome at least

there is a differnece between primer black and flat black...

A flat satin black can look good on a car, the Ferrari is the perfect example.

I did it on the spot around my t-tops

car was still dirty hear(right after conversion)

But I don't know I woudl be very wary of doing it you will need a gun to do it.

The first is flat black. The second probably is too, but its harder to tell. I have heard paint like that is hard to maintain because it likes to pick up the grease from your fingers when you touch it. Don't know if thats true or not... just what I heard. Eric any insight on that?
