  • which hood..need help

    i have a 98 camaro and i get some cash to fix it.

    i would like a nice hood,i kinda like the ss but i am gonna stick to the rs look i think

    what other hoods are out there
    these are the ones i know of:
    ss(probably not)
    ultra z(i thik is a lil too much for my car)
    cowl(nah)
    stock(might go with a stocker)
    warbird(nah)

    what other ones are there

    stock carbon fiber from vfn only weighs like 8-12 lbs or something ridiculous

              I just got a mecham for my bird and i really have to say whatever fitment issues they had have been dealt with, mine fits perfectly. You have two to choose from this one

              They are a little more on the wild side but i love them.

                  I gotta agree the second one with the single extractor flows much better with the camaro.

                        i liek the 1st one but you have to do the body kit with it.

                        i like the second one too. not a bad price either. maybe something ill look into. i think a cowl hood and a nice flip up rear spoiler look sick on 4th gens, like some old skool flavor.

                          Surprised no one has suggested the big block hood yet. I like it, but most people don't. I'm not quite sure what the Ultra-Z or Warbird hood look like...
