My car is bone stock but here are some pics anyway. My idea of the best looking camaro would be a silver one, 98+ front end, dropped 1-2" or somewhere inbetween, SS hood, 35th or 30th anvi. black stripes, billet grill, that spoiler that is very low profile and hooks around the side, 17-18" SSR GT1 rims, blacked out rear lights, maybe front and side lights too, Black camaro insert, dual exhaust chrone tips with a rear bumper fascia to blend the exhuast in with the body rather then the hanging under it look.
1997 Camaro v6 3.8
Bone Stock, just a little slower then most station wagons.
**Either the slowest SS or the prettiest v6**
very nice angles on those pics outklast. the car looks great for a stocker! extremely clean.
For anyone who asked about the wheels on my car:
They are 17X8 polished aluminum eagle 185's
I got them for about 500 plus shipping (if i remember correctly) from a guy at www.smokingjoescustoms.com
The tires are sumitomo htrz 245/45/ZR17 and i got them all for about 300 (2 from www.tirerack.com and two from a guy on another board... brand new of course)
35th anniversary style stripes, dual exhuast (needs better tips) whisper lid with K&N filter, clear corner lights, 5 spoke chrome rims, and nitto 555R cheater slicks (extra bonus when i bought the rims off ebay)

Some very sharp looking maro's guys. My two personal favorites on here are Larry's (loochy) and this one. I think I got this pic off this board awhile back. It is an awesome pic.

Thanks brain, and Yep, that is one awesome looking Z. Im not sure if the owner posts here any more or not. You can find more pictures of it here: http://www.cardomain.com/id/chuckys95
here are a couple more of my favorites (which are not from this site):
i really like larry's car as well , and it looks even better in person , and will look much better once he gets thoes nasty drums off the back and puts on the pretty calipers :D
BTW larry , do you have any pics up close of how you have your license plate mounted on the front? i really like the way that its laying on there... and i forgot to look at it last week
Here's my baby, far from the best looking and has flaws, but I still love her.
Plans for the future: Xenon kit since my wings west kit is pretty messed up in the front, SS Hood, 35th anniv. stripes in black or gunmetal grey, and of course a touch up of the paint to fix the chipped areas. Someday soon....then I cna compete with you big guys.
Hey loochy- do you have any close up pics of your engine bay? That one from far looked pretty good and was just wondering what it looked like up close.
Nice cars guys!

Its ok that you didnt look for it last week, cause it wasnt even on there, i still have it off from the last car show. Im not sure if i have any pics of how the plate is mounted on my computer right now, but i will check. if i dont ill take some when i get home in a week.

I was thinkin the same thing, I need to put my plate back on and yours looks real nice.
AlienInv8r: Do you have some more pics of those vette wheels on your car? How much did your tires run? I've been thinking of getting that style wheel because it's not as common plus I might be able to find them cheaper than other vette wheels.
I don't have many uploaded on the web right now, give me a few days and I could get a few more on the net. But here's a couple of pictures from my very first few days of having the car -
Tires ran me about $700 getting the cheapest z-rated tires I could find. I have Kuhmo 712s up front, and Falken somethings in the back. I'll get some more pics of the tires off my laptop when I get the chance. I wasnt crazy about the wheels at first, but I started getting tons of compliments on them and suddenly I love them now (funny how that works) but I definately like em

Hi, everyone. We bought a 97 base model convertible Camaro and someone broke the motor ... Lights were blinking on the dash and that someone ignored the...
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
