Apply a little at a time on a damp rag and rub it over the scratches. You won't have to use much force. Good luck.

Luckily all I have is one scratch which is noticable and some white scuff marks on my bumper (noticable if u are almost on the ground lol)... but a scratch remover should help it out a bit. I have Mothers Scratch remover or something like that and it helps if you go over it a few times with it.

If your scratch remover doesnt work, they try rubbing compound on it.

I think either way it will improve the look.

My car is at a paint shop now. I am having my new hood and spoiler painted. He said my car was in an accident and the scratches are actually the paint cracking from where the car was fixed. So I guess nothing will work except a new paint job. I think I am still going to try the scratch remover stuff. Might help a little.

Can someone give me a little more info on the rubbing compound.
Can it possible cause more damage than good? What brand do you use?
          Where do you get it?
What type of cloth to apply it with?

On my hood I kinda the same thing in the picture above, but there a far less scratches and they are even smaller and shallower than those. Luckily I can get away with a lot more on my pewter car, than black. It got damaged in shipping. Anyhow, I use meguirs scratch X and it work great, but I have to keep on it, or they come back. Im looking for a more permanent solution.

What the heck??? Yes, it certainly looks like the paint job was defective.
