  • 98+ Firebird Clear Front/Back Corner Lights

I just bought a set of front lights off ebay for $19.99 but they say they fit the front lights only. Now looking around more for rear ones I see that they're $50+!! What's up with that? The front ones look WAY better in my opinion. Could I just buy another set of those and use them for the back too? It looks like the same damn piece to me, could be wrong though. Please somebody that's done this give me some insight so I don't blow $50 on some fugly rear clear lights!

Here are some links to the auctions...

Take off you stock front and test fit it on the back.

      BRILLIANT! I'll be right back!

Well I'll be damned, the back lights are a lot longer than the front ones... still though more than twice the price?! That's outrageous, I'm gonna keep looking around for some lower prices.

for clear corner lights to be legal, to the actual bulbs have to be amber and red? I am also thinking about getting clear corners.

You have a black car and youre looking at clearn corners? I think I would look into blacking them out instead... it would make the car flow better IMO.

Yes I want clear ones now even though I have a black car and I could always smoke them later myself. The ugly stock ones just gotta go and these are the only ones on the market from what I've seen. I went ahead and bought both sets, I'll have em soon enough and have pics posted.

Ok so now that I've ordered them I'm wondering how you install em. I took the screw out of my stock ones to get a good look at it and it seems to be firmly glued to the back park of the light with a very short piece of wire connecting it to a power source, so it doesn't pull out very far. Do I just pry off the old light and put on the new one or is there more to it? I hope I don't have to take off too much stuff, it doesn't seem like it should be too hard of an install but you never know... Any tips?
