Hey guys I got my clear corners in today and went to put them on...  I went from the top by removing the headlights. I got everything unbolted and ready to swap but I can't get the damn original turn signals out...It looks like you have to either break em or take off the front bumper cover. Can anyone help me out or tell me how to get them out. I supposed i could just break them but thats not gonna help when I go to put the new ones in. What a PITA. 30 minute job my a$$..lol

If memory serves correct, there are three bolts that hold the turns in (two facing the engine bay and one on the bottom). After removing these bolts, it takes creativeness to get the stocks out (read: wiggle them a lot, I think I got mine out by forcing the outside edge [as opposed to the side facing the grill] out first and then lifting at an angle to get the rest out). I think I cracked the driver's side stock signal doign this, but the new ones go in a lot smoother (reverse process). Sorry if that's confusing, if I had a pic of the signal alone (with headlight removed) I could show you where I'm talking about (if anyone has a pic of that, I could circle areas to make this clearer).
hope this helps,
Rob
Edit: Oh yeah, when I did mine, I had the help of my roommate and another guy from my hall last year. It was one of them that decided to "give it a bit more oomph" that got it out. I'm not trying to say to rip your bumper off, but you can't be gentle to get those out.

This is absolutely retarded. I cannot for the life of me get these damn things in. I got the old ones out but I used a dremel tool and cut them cuz i got sick of ****ing with it. I tried to do what you said and put the end closer to the bumper in first and then try to put the other outer end in. If I do this there is like 1 inch of the corner light that will not get around that lip. I'm not pulling the whole bumper off to change a damn turn signal. I wish I would've known how big of a pain in the *** this was before, I never would've bought these damn lights. Wow thats a lot of *****ing but i had to vent. I have spent 6 hours over 2 days trying this and have gotten no where...AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!\"a civic is like a tampon...every pussy has one\"

I had to give mine some more "OOmph" also:) It is a very tight squeeze getting them in and out in the front. They won't break near as easily as you think, trust me, I thought I was going to break mine too!www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!
