Rally Sport question

This is kind of a wierd question but anyway...I have a 99 rs camaro presently...I used to have a 98 base camaro and traded it on this a while back...Well, the first difference I noticed in driving it is that there is a kind of whistle sound that kindof reminds me of a supercharger sound...but it was not on my 98 base camaro...and I have heard the sound on newer impalas, and its not a "bad sound" where there is somthing wrong with the car, but it's supposed to be there...anyone else know what i'ma yakking about???

I know Exactaly what ur talking about. I can hear it alot better wen im taking off in 1st and 2nd then it gets quieter.

mine does it also. i have had alot of things checked and all are good. i think its just normal engine noise or maybe from my upgraded intake.

Mine does it too. I always thought it was just because my motor has soo many miles on it. I always tell people its my supercharger ;) .

people ask me if i have a s/c when they hear mine cuz of that whistle ur talkin about...plus with the slp intake on it theres more of a whistle

You'er right, they didn't make RS's till 01

yea, its the intake... my old car that i had a cold air intake on whistled extrememly loud at WOT and everyone thought it was a supercharger.
