Until recently I didnt notice a gap between my drivers side door and front fender. I could swear that it wasnt always like it. I am questioning what you people think and does it need fix?
Either yourself or a tire place has jacked the car up in the wrong spot. You gotta go 12-15 inches from the wheel well...Otherwise that gap happens, I have had it several times before, also happens if you bottom out hard on a curb or something. I was able to get some pliers bend the bent piece back out on the bottom of the car. Look down there, compare it to the other side that isn't bent, and you'll see what needs to be moves to fix it... Hope I helped.

mine did that too when i hit some big hunk of steel in the road. just get some vice grips and grab hold of that flap under the body behind the wheel. pull it towards the center of the car until the gap closes. good as new...
Thanks for the posts guys. I have this same problem on the right side of my car. User before me had the same problem and I noticed it too late, not that big of a gap but its noticeable. Going to try the plier thing tommorow, maybe put a sticker on the bottom lip saying dont jack here.

yep same thing happened to me when I took it to pep boys to get a screw outta my tire (didnt go all the way in though )
But yea, the dealership only charged me $50 to repair both sides... under the table of course.
yeah I have the same problem on both sides!! I swear I must have been on crack when I took delivery of my car. I was kicking myself but now I see it will cost me nothing to fix.
So I'm thanking you all for the solutions posted too. You guys are great. Is there a question that stumps this group??
