saw this on ebay, bought it, took dash apart.. $hit myself..

http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=461 00&item=2442306322

so i get my cluster out, and apart, but the overlay goes between the glass and the existing overlay, which are glued together.

pics will be up as soon as cardomain lets me access my webpage  on page 2

so my question, how do i get them apart with out cracking my glass?
put back together?

if you need specific details, post back.

Glued??? My plastic glass is bolted on. I remove about 8 screws, and I can access my overlay.
If you are gonna remove it, try a blowdryer first to heat up/soften the glue. If that doesn't work, I would suggest using a dremel with a small carbide bit.

I have a 96 Camaro.
I would use a clear silicone to put it back together. Home Depot has a tube of it for about $5.

son of a b!+ch

dremel is too wide, plus i havent used it for anything yet.. this is the third time ive tried to put this thing in, but now i have it totally torn apart, and all i can do is stare at it..

its glued from the inside out, you'd have to cut through the plastic to get to the glue, and i dont want to do that.

i might just throw the m0+hEr Fu(I<eR away

any other suggestions, gonna try the blow dryer, if that doesnt work, im breakin out the pencil torch.....
