  • BMR Boxed SFC, visable from the side of car?

I'm thinking about finally getting my SFC's welded on and were wondering if you can see them underneath the car while standing on either side, say from a standing position? I was kinda hoping they are visable because I got the blue painted ones and I think it'll look tight and add some more accent to my car. Although they are Navy Blue and my decals on the front license and back bumber are reflective blue. But they look darker blue in the day and really bright light blue at dark with light shined on em. So I guess it'll still look cool. I don't have any decals on the side anyways. What do you guys think?

you can see 1/4" to 1/2" of the boxed ones all along the side of the car, if you don't have GFX. If you do have GFX, then u can't see them at all.

Cool, ya I have the W68 ground effects so I guess they won't be visable. Hopefully they'll take some of the rattles out of my car (t-tops especially). Ever since I put my suspension and cat-back on everything seems to rattle! Especially the auto shifter, the little plastic things that slide back and forth where it goes into the console rattle like crazy! I guess I'm just kidding myself for thinking that would go away though :(

The sfc's are gonna stop most of the rattles. one thing to think of when u get those put on is having relocation brackets weled on as well, since u have to unbolt the lca's to put on the sfc's neways. doing both of these at the same time will help traction, roll stiffness, and reponsiveness of the car.

I have GFX and it still shows up a little bit, the GFX dont extend that much. And the SFC blocks the pinch weld area meant for the spare tire jack,.,.,.so u need to move the jack farther back in the "undesignated" area....

BMR recently redesigned their boxed subframes. The new version does not hang as low as the original version. I put them on tiago's car and you can barely see them.. I mean barely the moved them up nice and out of the way.
