Fiberglass ?

Is fiberglass hard to cut without having other problems occur around the cut?

Would it be possible for me to cut a hole with my tools, or would I most likely need to take it to a shop to do the cutting?

Would stress cracks form around the cut?

use a high speed cutter or drill and tape up the area where you're going to be cutting. cut into the tape. the tape will keep it together and a high speed tool shouldn't do any damage.

start small too. if you're trying to make a 1/2" hole, start the hole with a 1/8" bit, then go up by say 1/16" until you reach 1/2." don't try to just use your 1/2" bit to make a 1/2" hole ;)
