Stripe colors on pewter?

My pewter Firebird had pinstripes when new, but they are getting old/worn. I'd like to hear some suggestions.

I was thinking of getting new pinstripes that are one stripe of black and one stripe of gold.

I'm glad to have any suggestions.

IMO 2 different colored pinstripes wouldn't look good, id go w/ all black or none at all. i don't like pinstripes too much

Ew pinstripes are ugly in my opinion... take them off and get some other form of stripe. To each is own, but there's my idea.

The original stripes are silver and gold. I kinda like the two color look.

With Pewter I would do

Order of Preference:
Electric Blue
Black,
or Metalic Red

I would not do more than two colors with Pewter.

On a pewter car, I would put chrome pinstriping on it.

I've seen it and it looks great. (as long as you have chrome wheels)

If not chrome, I would try white.

Well as a Pewter owner I wouldn't put gold on. As I have said before that the pewter is yellow-based so anything that has yellow in it will not look very good. Colors with the opposite will look best like blues, purples...a complimentary color to yellow is purple. I personally wouldnt put the pinstripes back on but if you like them then go with blue, black or charcoal :D
I have black and charcoal custom racing stripes on my car but almost went with blue/purple. I will be getting a flame job in those colors later this summer/fall.

Just a little question to ask you. The other day I pulled into the parking lot at work at noticed a Pewter Camaro so I parked next to it. Surprisingly my car almost looked silver next to it! It was like a totally different color. Have you noticed a difference like that with other Pewter owners??? WIshed I had my camera that day :(
