• Ram Air 2 hood on 97 Camaro

I finally found a picture of one.. I had to doctor it to remind me of my car a little... not too good of a photoshop job but anyways. What do you CAMARO guys think... i think most firebird fellas are gonna call and say ripoff... anyawys just be civil...

I think it shows that you wanted a firebird but bought a camaro. Sorry, Dont go for the Inner Family-breeding thing, Children always come out looking funny.

imo m ost pontiac hoods don't look that good on Camaros (esp the style with the old headlights) because the pontiac styling is more curvy and the older Camaros weren't in that respect.

well i almost bought a firebird actually

I like it for two reasons... the first being its not an SS hood. I like the ss hood alot better then this one to be honest. But I don't want people to think I have an SS. I will most likely get an SS hood if I get one at all but it all depends..

2nd this hood really isn't "curvy" to me it looks more rugged which is along the older styling of the pre 98 camaros.

Also its unique for this year camaro. In the end its always up to the car owner. I just like having more choices then ultra z and ss... it gets old really quick ;)

I really don't consider it "cross breading" I mean its not like I took the honeycombs and put it on my camaro.... wait a minute... hmmmm j/k

I don't think it looks right. It looks way out of place. I know what you mean though only having the SS and ultra Z to pick from. Sucks

I think that hood looks awesome on the 98+'s and when I get my new camaro, I'm pretty sure i'll get that, or the mecham hood. ---->

I agree with Steve. On the 93-97's that hood is just too abstract for the plane body lines. But for 98+ it's a pimp a$$ hood. Also, there are two different kinds of Ultra Z hoods. I don't like the SLP which is what most people see. I prefer the Suncoast Creations Ultra Z hood.

Just don't say anything. Give them the finger if they give you **** about your car.
