      Thanks, Ian.

The vinyl came out so much better than I expected- if anybody is in New Jersey and wants something made and/or installed with vinyl, I HIGHLY recommend Vigg Designs. You can go to their site here.

I forgot to put them in the post above- there are 6 more pics of my stripes on the Vigg web page- just click on the racing stripes link at the top and scroll down.

It was an amazing price- $200-220 (I can't remember exactly anymore) for the stripes WITH installation.

Its pretty much right in the middle of new jersey, pretty close to parkway exit 105.

The installation was FLAWLESS. There wasn't a bubble or nick or anything. They had a little trouble wrapping it around the back of the trunk lid, but it came out fantastic.

Mine are guaranteed for 7 years- if the color fades or changes or anything, 3M's warranty covers it. The other reason I chose to go with vinyl is that it is very strong, which makes me feel more comfortable.

Another great thing is that if one part of the stripe setup ever does get damaged, you can just peel it off (not too easily) and replace just that part.

Sorry to make such a long post, i just get so excited when I talk about the stripes and Vigg Desings- it was a choice that I am very glad I made.

You know what I think of chromeillusion? I think dupont paint sucks. But thats just 1 person so I must be wrong. I like Harliquin from PPG a lot better.

I used the duplicolor paint to match the moldings in my interior with the stripes (which came with the car when I bought it). It took me $40 worth of paint to finish, but I think it was worth it.
