• The fabric on the inside of the roof

Is there anyone who knows how I might be able to get the fabric on the roof back on. Mine is starting to fall down from the roof.

Thanks
Jeremy

You are talikng about the headliner. You can do minor repairs with glue. But what is happening is the original glue is drying out and/or evaporating.

The best bet is to completely replace it. Ask around, it is not that expensive.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

How inexpensive are we talking less than a $100 or more?

Hello, Actually I am having the same problem
right now with my headliner also. I will do the repair work myself because I have done another car
before it was my 1979 Z28 and it came out very well. All you have to do is go to either a place
that carries fabric for cars or places that you see advertising to fix headliners and match your material. Then go get some very good 3M spray on
adhesive. Now pull the headliner out carefully pull the rest of the material off and then you will have to srape the rest of the foam off and do
be very thorough with this part. After scraping and cleaning wipe it down and get ready to spray
the glue and then let sit for several minutes until tackie. Now I recommend you have someone
help to put the material on and help keep the
material as flat as possible but you should be able to get wrinkles out. Now just smooth it out
and make sure you get glue on the edges or it will
just start to come off again. Well if you have any questions just let me know because I will be starting mine this weekend. See Ya.
