This opinion and language is a little extreme...but I do agree with him. They are tacky and do nothing to make the appearance of the car better. And some colors are also illegal. Spend money on better things ;)

I still love when people try to say neon light's are ricer, even though they have been out for years and originated on Old classic's and muscle cars that people fixed up.

All i have is a red streetglow goldseries underglow kit, and i get nothing but compliments(i have a 98 red bird). If you do to many lights, then it will look tacky, but be tasteful and it will look great. Make sure you hide the bulbs, and do a good job installing the switch.

too many lights do look stupid, but in moderation, they look great. I'd get a body kit before you get the neons put in. it's easier to hide them w/ the body kit on the car. I've seen a guy who put small tubes in their side vents and underneath the ram air inlets of his midnight blue formula w/ a ram air h.o. hood. he didn't have any below the car though. the lights were blue street glows and the vents were painted white.

I also think the neons in the ram air hood nostrils would look awesome. I have thought about doing this, but not sure on the color with a black WS6.
