  • I want t-tops HELP!!

I was wondering I got the camaro with out t-tops and I regret it every day but I was thinking of gettiing some cut in and all the shops around hear say that they either won't touch it or the'll do it but it's going to leak. Why?? I don't understand why it would leak they say that once your body flexes thats wheres it's going to start. Why come the ones from the factory don't leak do they have more stucual stability?? If so then could'nt I find a car in a junk yard cut about 2" back from the windshield and on that seem on the roof do the same to mine weld it on sand, paint etc... won't that work I'm just wanting to know because I just dont' think that it's that hard to do where you'll have no problems and they want leak!!

It can be done.. My self and a handful of others on this board have successfully done it. Mine leak, but only slightly and in 1 corner. Thats better than some factory ones, which tend to leak as well.
