  • Rear firebird emblem fading

I know this topic was discussed before, but i couldnt find it. I have a red 98 firebird, and the firebird emblem and the chicken are fading. They look almost orange. What can i do for this. Should i just get a decals? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Polishing it with a good polish (zaino) might bring back some color to them but I doubt they will look as good as new.

    You have several options.

Buy decals in your choice of colors and style and put them on.

Buy a new rear filler polish it and hope it doesnt fade like the first one.

Paint over your current one. This takes a steady hand and paitience.

I have several friends who have done one or the other above things and their cars look great.

IMO all three options will look good if done correctly so its up to you which route you want to go.

i used some acetone on my 98 firebird worked great. Just take your time and wax it when you are done.
