can 98+ firebird body panels be used on a 97 'bird. i know that the only exterior difference is from the a-pillar forward, and i was just wondering if i could use the front panels, front fascia and hood from a 98 on mine.

p.s...i do have a reason for this

From what I know yes. But also from what I've heard is it's not gonna be easy, all kinds of parts to replace. And you won't have the little vent things like the 98+. Mind if I ask what your reason for this is? Get in a wreck?
