  • Removing Badges?

What do you all think of removing the door badges? What is the easiest way to do it? Also, are any marks or holes left on the car?

Hair dryer, heat gun, boiling water. If you use the water, make sure you have more than one cups worth. It will take a few cups to heat the adhesive enough to want to "peel off"

I plan on taking my badges off when i find some time.

VERY EASY! alot easier than i thought, and nope, no holes no marks, no nothin, looks perfect. all u need is a hair dryer, some fishing line, a scraper, and some goo gone (it's some crap i found that to take stickers off and stuff, i think my mom bought it at home depot) go one letter at a time, get it pretty hot, take the fising line and saw the letter off, peel the rest of the adhesive off with a scraper of some sort (i used an ice scraper cus its plastic so it wouldn't scratch the paint) then rub the goo gone over it with a paper towel and your done. good luck

I removed the badges on my Firebird when I had her. It looks nice and clean with them removed and I was happy with the result. I used the same method that whiteshark mentioned but I used WD40 instead of the Goo Gone product because I didn't have any at the time, but that is a great product. Just be patient with it and it will come out fine.
